Oakland born painter, muralist, & aspiring teacher, Jasmine Quiroga A.K.A Jackpot was first influenced by her father who was a prolific sketch artist. Jasmine’s unique painting style is a combination of tattoo aesthetic, cartoons of the 1990s, ukiyo-e & graffiti. Jasmine has embarked on a career of artistic pursuits that span the spectrum from logos, paintings, to murals. In addition to pursuing her creative endeavors, She is also a teaching artist. Jasmine shares her passion for art with youth and adults teaching art classes around the Bay Area.

Hunniez was founded in November 2019 in Oakland, California, and is directed by Tessa Shanley and Simone Howard. Hunniez is a women/gender non-conforming identified dance collective that is made up of friends who love to create, perform and grow together. Hunniez made their debut as a team at Prelude Norcal 2019. Since then, they have performed at multiple local studio showcases, SF Pride 2022, DAMSF 2022, Prelude Norcal 2022 and Prelude Socal 2023.. Hunniez hopes that by unapologetically taking up space as their most authentic selves, they can inspire others, especially other women, to do the same.
