DAM's partner production studio is launching a monthly series where we spotlight the next generation of live music in the Bay Area. We know that a great show is not only defined by the spotlight artist, but the backline that carries their energy — and there's definitely a lot to be discovered when it comes to the instrumental talent that resides in the bay. 

 

We're looking for talented musicians to join our roster of in-house talent, who are skilled in playing with band members and can learn music quickly. The ideal candidates will be folks who feel confident playing R&B, jazz, and a little bit of rock, as well as feeling comfortable performing live on-camera. Our core band will comprise of drums, keyboard, and guitar — but we want to hear it all. If your instrument leans in the strings, wind, or horns section, we highly encourage you to apply too! Classical instruments belong in more than just the opera house; so show us what you got. 

 

To apply, interested candidates will submit a 1-2 minute video, introducing yourself, the music, and showing us what you do best. We'll let you decide what you want to play — but our hard requirements is that is must be live(no pre-recorded content), and the instrument you're playing should be the same instrument that you'd be listed for in our roster. Musicians of interest will be called in for an in-person audition, where we'll have them play with other auditionees to see how you play in a collective. Once selected, our team will share compensation details and show dates.
